Mckenna Jade

just thought i would post about my mckenna. this week at pre-school she got to bring home Mr.T or Tiny. he is a bear that comes with a backpack full of stuff and a journal. this is a project they are doing in her class. every week a childs name gets drawn from a hat and that child takes tiny home. she has been waiting all year for this. so tiny came home with us on tuesday and went back today, thursday. it was very sweet to watch her with this bear. sometimes funny. neways....from the time she got him until she gave him back this morning, he never left her side. she has certain stuffed animals she takes care of, but this time it was different. she would talk to him, show him around, put him in preston's high chair at dinner...if she did it, he did it. she loved on him, showed him off to everyone...and when it was time to leave this morning she told me she did not want to give him back...that he wanted to stay. but she got over it and was excited to have her teacher read tiny's journal about what adventures they have had together. it was really cool. the thing that surprised me the most was how resposible she was with him. i think the teacher said more than once that they had to be extra careful with him and needed to really take good care of him. well....she was very responsible. she made sure he didn't get dirty and she also kept up with all the items in tiny's backpack. just one more sign that my children are growing up. :(
