Happy 8th Birthday Peyton

peyton had such a fun birthday this year. she wanted to do a shaving cream fight....so that is what we did :) the girls had a blast!!! i can not believe she is 8. i mean really!!!! she is 8 years old....in the second grade.....most of her front teeth are missing.....and the list goes on!!! i am so proud of her. she is a great kid. she is kind (well to everyone but her sister ) helpful, smart, beautiful, an incrediable soccer player and is awesome at just about everything she does. everyone loves her!! so happy bithday petyon lyn!!! we love you so so much :)

33 Years and Now It's the End

Well this is the year. The year my dad retired from the Garland Fire Department. 33 years he worked there!!! Isn't that crazy. He was a captain.....and EVERYONE loved him. Im sure he was the best fireman that Garland has ever had or ever will have. My mom put together a little surprise party for him on the last saturday he worked. It was really special. It worked out really well becuase when we showed up he was out on a run. The kids had a blast playing on all the workout equipment and the firetruck. It is so werid to know that we will never go up to his station anymore. I have been visiting Garland fire department stations for the past 31 years!!! But I guess you have to retire sometime?? But no fear....we will be visiting Carrollton fire department stations now :) So, now both my parents are reitred. Very weird. But I am happy for them :) I am so proud of my dad!!! And he will always be a fireman :)
