10 Months Old

just look at those eyes

this means i am two months away from having a one year old...where did the time go? let me just say that preston is ALL boy. he grunts, he makes weird crazy noises with his mouth, he gets into EVERYTHING...we have been calling him "the bulldozer" because he is sooo strong and will crawl, climb and walk over anyone and everything. he is still a bottomless pit..wants to eat all the time. he is so cute, anytime someone is eating or drinking anything in front of him he will sit or stand and stare at you with these big puppy dog eyes...we try not to give in, but sometimes we cave. i am taking him thursday for his nine month check up...we will get the stats then. he has been gaining about a pound a month, but i figure with him crawling and cruising, he will start to slim up.... still waiting. :) he says dadadada...every once and i while i hear mama...but not too often. he can make horse sounds on command and is giving hi-5. it is the cutest thing. he does NOT like to be restrained in a car seat or anything else. he barely wants to be held anymore. he just wants to be down and crawling, pulling up on stuff, putting strange things in his mouth and playing. he is now walking behind his big tonka truck walker thing...he loves it. the freedom! his fav. thing to play with right now are balls. he throws them, rolls them, and tries to eat them :) he has four teeth now. them bottom two have been in for awhile, but the top two are coming thru now, slowly. he is the light of my life, along with the girls, and i just love being his mom. oh, and he loves playing in the water...can't wait till summer :)
