so i up loaded these pics in the wrong order...pierced ears came first and then haircuts, but i don't have time to change them around. the girls look so cute, and they love the short hair. thanks allysa..you did a great job!!
peyton's before picnow for the ear piercing....we made the mistake of going when only one girl was there to do the piercing...i recommend you go when they can do both ears at the same time. it will make everyone's life MUCH easier. the reason we allowed peyton to get her ears pierced is because i told her when she pulled her first tooth she could get her ears pierced. so, she pulled her tooth out all by herself and therefore we took her to get her ears pierced.
this is after the pain set in...and she held her other ear until we left, without the second ear being pierced. it was kind of funny, the delay of reaction. she was smiling for about 5 seconds, then the tears started to flow and the fight began. she refused to let the lady do the other side. so, we left. hoping she would go back the next day and get the other side done.
this is the girls with their good friend cassidy. this pic is of the girls the next day. after seeing peyton's earring, cassidy wanted to get hers done. so we thought maybe peyton would be more willing to finish what she had started if cassidy went with her. and she did for a little bit. she got back up in the chair, got the dot back on, and then chickened out for the second time. cassidy went ahead and got hers done. luckily there were two ladies in the shop that day. so we left, still only one ear pierced. after getting home and a lot of discussion between peyton and i, she decided she was ready to go back and get the second ear done. so, we went back up there right before they were closing. she was such a champ. she got up there, got prepared, and let the lady do it!! i guess the third times the charm. i was sooo proud of her. she looks so grown up now. she loves them, i love them, and now everyone is happy. well, until it's time to clean them. she won't let anyone touch them. oh well, at least they are in there.
