well, last weekend we started our fall season of soccer. let me just say that the girls were SUPER excited. so, now we have practice twice a week and two games on saturday. yes, they do have a few games that are at the same time. matt will be with peyton (b/c he helps coach her team) and preston and i will be with mckenna. unforunately our games got rained out due to hurricane ike. peyton's practice was on friday this week, and when she found out that night that she was not having a game she said, "but mom, i practiced so hard to get ready for the game." it is true, she did. the position she is playing is mid-fielder. i am pretty sure that means she can go anywhere on the field. they put her there b/c she is AWESOME, and b/c she has lots of energy to run the whole time and is aggressive. she is also very competitive. hmmm....wonder where she gets that from? :) mckenna's league is not that competivie yet. which is good, b/c she just likes running around, looking at us and smiling, and occasionaly kicking the ball. she is soooo fun to watch.
